Queens Park Battle

by Arlene Remy   Nov 21, 2006

Then I saw them coming from every angle
an army charged and ready for war
They sat patiently waiting on the battle field
The reason for battle still unsure
the crowd a mixture of every classification
not a common factor in any face
different in age, culture, standard of living
religion, attitude and race

All sharing some unspoken secret
of some power that might unveil
curiosity in some that eagerly look on
some wishing the power might fail
the roar of the warriors was loudly heard
chanting to a melodious beat
welcoming the presence of the royal king
and laying their worship at his feet

then I supposed he opened the heavens
cause behold the power had came
spreading through the crowd in the midst of worship
'Jesus' they shouted his name
healing and deliverance I heard them cry
behold I have been made new
'Credenda Vidas' those who believe shall see
and the remaining was just a few

Inspired by the Benny Hinn Crusade held in Trinidad June 2006
