I saw your face today

I saw your face today and almost cried,
I saw you and my happy day was completely fried.

I tried so hard to cover it up, but everyone knew something was up.

Oh man I'm hurting bad, you brought back so many memories I thought I never had.

In the back of my mind you had been floating around like a name or an address I had lost there somehow.

I remember the days that we sat up on your bed the things we used to talk about our fears and things we said.

Now I wished I would've told you about how I felt instead, of telling you how we'd never be again.

That's all that I can think of there's nothing else but blank, but when I saw your face again it really made me think.
