Close your eyes dream of the future
making it through the day
wondering what will go away
the pain of the past still haunts you
and your future doesn't look like its gonna last
trying hard as you can to make it to a better day
hoping th pain will fade away
someday things will be alright
just gotta make it through each night
hiding everything deep inside
letting it out when your alone at night
drag the needle from the shelf
looking at what you have done to yourself
dreaming of a better time in life
wishing it would be okay
as you close your eyes and try not to fade away
cover up the scars so no one sees
how much you just cant be
feeling less alive each day
waiting for someone to tell you it will be okay
lost and empty in this life
find it hard to keep up the strife
