Wow what a great poem. i bet your sister loved it. i have 4 older sisters just like that and though we've had our fights while growing up i love them and they love me regardless.

I really liked this poem. I have a brother who I feel this same way about. I think that you did an amazing job describing your love and care for your sister and it could really be felt throughout the poem. My absolute favorite stanza was;
As friendships come and fade
And I have loved and lost,
Her shining love and grateful trust
Do not come at such a cost.
