This is the story
about a young girl
who doesn't know where
she belongs in the world
She's very unhappy,
although she insists she's okay.
But inside she struggles
to make it through each day.
She's constantly tormented
by worries and fears.
She's lived with those feelings
for so many years.
She never imagined
she could feel so alone
She just can't face it,
all on her own.
She's going crazy
inside of her head.
She cries herself to sleep,
wishing she was dead.
She picks up the razor
and pushes it deep into her skin
And lets out all the pain
that was bottled up within.
She's decided that it's time
to finally end her misery.
She kills her body,
so her soul can be set free.
Her family can't understand,
they just didn't know,
that she was already dead inside
a long time ago
