Trapped

Darkness.
Four walls surround.
I can't stretch out.
No light. No sound.

Sadness.
I wish to cry
But I sit afraid
To drown and die.

Hopeless.
I've tried each way,
But no way out
For me this day.

Pointless.
To just hold on
To live to fail
Is all just wrong..

Breathless.
I'm losing air.
These once lively eyes
Turned to blank stare.

Lifeless.
Here I lie...
Slipping away
Into the sky.

Silence.
I no longer breathe
But strangely enough
My heart fills with glee.

Heaven.
When in death I was wrapped
It was then I was freed
For in life, was I trapped.
