I said i'm leaving

"I'm heading towards the door,
don't you dare try and stop me,
I'm not listening anymore!"

"Oh come on dear this is silly,
You have already tried this,
Now listen to me and shut the door Tilly"

"No, I wont, I'm leaving I really am,
I'm really going to go
And I wont shut the door, I'll slam!"

"I'll give you to the count of three,
to get your butt inside,
Or you'll have to deal with dad, not me!"

"No I'm going, I'm walking down the path
I really really mean it,
I've had enough of taking a bath"

So that's it then, I'm all alone
Walking out the gate,
But what do I care? I've grown!
I'm slamming the gate behind me!
And again just in case
They want to have a look and see
But it has started raining a lot
Maybe I should go back
And try again when it's hot!
Well that's it, I'm off back home then
I'll wait for the summer in a few years time
Before I leave home again!

"Ok mum, I'm back for now,
But don't think your lucky,
Or ask me how."

"Hello?! Did you not hear me?
I said I'm back!
Come and see!"

"Oh sweet heart, you're here,
Dinners on the table,
Then it's bath time for you dear!"
