One ring..no answer
two..no ones there
three..he holds his breath
four..hes getting scared

five..the answering machine
BEEP hes un aware
he hears her scream
but he can only stare

he hangs up the phone
and runs to his car
\"man\" he thinks
\"why does she live so far\"

he finds the house
and pulls into the drive
he runs to the pool
the gurls ready to dive

10 feet deep
no water in the pool
\"why are you doing this?\" he yells
\"this aint kool\"

The gurl turns
suprised to see who it is
\"dont u get it?\"the gurl screams
\"ur the reason im doing this\"

the gurl is dressed in black
tears in her eyes
scars on her arms
yet she claims shes fine

\"u lied to me!\"
\"u said you were here!!\"
\"just face it,
u dont really care\"

hes standing there clueless
not sure what to do
\"if i didnt care,\" he says
\"would i be here tryin to stop u?\"

The gurl steps off the dive board
so he can see
the gurl wispers \" thank you\"
\"you saved me\"

he hugs her
and softly prays
\"thank you lord\"
\"shes gonna stay\"
