I must accept

I guess I must accept the negative in my life
Like how my relationship failed and I never became your wife
I now need to focus and stop dwelling on our past
Cause it wasn't my fault that are love didn't last

I have to accept that I'm now doing things on my own
No one here to hold me when I'm feeling alone
I know that things are rough and I need to just be calm
cause now I know life gets harder since now I'm a single mom

I need to just accept that you no longer care
to just move on with my life for the memories are still there
I will never forget but I guess its time to accept

    I really liked this poem. I like how you get across a feeling of strength and fear at the same time. Ready to accept the fact that you are a single mum but also slightly scared of that fact. Excellent.
