My Angel

A secret thought,
Never to be known,
I cannot tell,
Or weakness would be shown,

The pain beats,
The burns ache,
It’s hard to believe,
All the hurt you make,

Your eyes still scare me,
Into the tears I always cry,
Silently every night,
I secretly want to die,

My secret is still kept,
Even from the ones that I love,
The only one who knows,
Is my angel from above,

He watches over me,
Through the night and all day,
He always lets me know,
When more hurt is at bay!
