Our Dance!

by XxMoonLightxX   Nov 23, 2006

I hear the music,
As it slowly and quietly plays
I watch your movement secretly,
As you walk from all the craze,

Lost in my own world,
I dream of our last dance,
The feeling I had as you held me so gingerly,
Both of us willing to take the chance,

I remember it like yesterday,
The song and every word we said,
Your arms around my waist,
And mine behind your head,

As we cautiously danced away,
I felt so nervous but yet so unbelievably free,
It was a memory just waiting to be made,
A memory in which no one could disagree,

I came to and out of my thoughts,
And saw you smiling at me so wildly,
You ask for another dance,
With a tone of voice strong but yet mildly,

As you held me in your arms once again,
And we looked into each others eyes,
Just there in our new memory,
Even as the music lightly dies.
