Even tho it feels,
I've no one to turn to,
No one wants to know,
What I'm going thru.

I've given up on love,
I guess its not for me,
I just don't see a point,
It wasn't meant to be.

Life could be so perfect,
If only we could try,
It could be amazing,
Where no one has to cry.

There'd be no sleepless nights,
No waiting by the phone,
No ifs or buts or maybes,
Or staying home alone.

Thats nothing but a dream,
Like Rome was in the past,
Love is but four letters,
That were never meant to last.

I've learned it all the hard way,
Don't ask about my past,
It really isn't pretty,
The pain just seems to last.

I've never shun away,
Of a soul that was in need,
I've listened and took care of them,
Tho it brought me to my knees.

Evey night i pray,
To the man thats high above,
I pray he'll keep her warm and safe,
And scare away the dark.

I pray for every living soul,
Both day and every night,
I pray you'll all be happy,
And live a happy life.

Every day i smile,
but thats all you'll see,
you'll never see within,
or the hell that burns in me.

I'm sorry for these words,
I know they do hurt you,
But I'm trying to deal,
With the pain God puts me thru.

I thank you for your comments,
I thank you form my heart,
This poem is far too long,
So I'll end this verse alright?.

    "Love is but four letters,
    That were never meant to last."

    Those two lines put everything into perspective at times don't they. At the end of the day love is just a word, in some apsects anyway.
    Another gem of a poem you have here.

    OMG! Okay you can not do anything to hurt yourself OR give up on love! There is someone out there for you trust me! You are the sweetest guy ever! I love talking to you and knowing that I will be able to comment on one of your amazing poems or read a really sweet comment from you! And if anything ever happened as to where we wouldn't be able to talk or anything.......it would hurt me a lot...cause it's kinda like you are a part of me...I don't mean to sound weired or anything...I'm just saying...well I have to go now....nothing really to do today so I think I'm gonna go take my friends truck and drive it around the farm...yeah that's rigth I'm cursed with living on a farm...damn....lol Well LOTS OF LOVE!

    U can't without lov. i can relate to this. it helps to talk to someone that went through the same. the poem seem so tired and regreting. this touched me deep. at the beging seems that u ment the end of the rop, but at the end u so much hope. i lov it:)
