Hidden By the Light of Day

My blue tears that never dry,
Keep on coming as I cry.
Restlessness that with me stays,
It's hidden by the light of day.

In the sorrow, by my side,
I wallow in pain denied.
No one knows what comes my way,
It's hidden by the light of day.

The twisting of my beaten heart,
Rips and pulls this want apart.
And though this pain won't go away,
It's hidden by the light of day.

    Such a sad opening but it set the theme for the rest of the poem nicely
