You're More Then a Dream

by Wasted Fake Smiles   Nov 23, 2006

When I lay in bed to go to sleep,
I think of all I've lost I couldn't keep.
I fall asleep, wondering how life would be,
If everything I missed could return to me.

I'd take you back in a heart beat, baby,
But seeing you ever again is a BIG maybe.
You're more then a dream, but perfection,
You could be the definition of affection.

You were everything I wanted and need,
I miss you baby, my heart you did feed.
When I have a nightmare, you save the day,
Too bad I can't repay you in some way.

You're more then a dream, it wasn't fake,
I still love you, despite all your mistakes.
I might not have meant much, but my heart is true,
Baby you're the reason I was born, I miss you.
