for a while I had
you left me
and went to some other lad
i cried all night and all day
i begged of you to come back to stay

because i was so ashamed
how could i love you
when you don't even love me

but God must have herd my cries
because to me he sent you flyin'
i thought i was dreaming
then i stopped my crying
when I realized you were really here

you stopped my breath
and in caved my chest
you did all of this to me
with just a look and a smile
