Taking Chances

I have a big collection of poems,
And they are all about you
If only i had the courage to show you one,
Maybe you could put the pieces of the puzzle together.
I love you
and i want to tell you
But i feel like so many things are keeping me from doing this.
I call but you are not there.
Will you ever be there?
I need to talk to you!
I need to tell you how i feel
These emotions are screaming to come out.
And when they do come out,
you won't be there.
Because you do not love me.
I am your best friend
I'm not pretty or skinny like the other girls,
So why would you like me?
But when i tell you my feelings you won't feel the same way.
I will be hurt for a very long time
But you have to take chances for the one you love
and that is what i'm goning to do.
