Disappointment

Why do you look at me like all I am is a disappointment?
It's as if everything i do is a big failure to you.
you used to tell me you would love me always,
no matter what my choices were.
So why does it matter who I am with as long as I'm happy?
Ever since you found out who I really am
I've been nothing but one disappointment after another.
I'm so sick of all the secrets and the lies
So when you ask me to look you in the eye
and tell you who I want to be with
I'm gonna tell you her.
I'm not asking you to agree with my decision,
All I'm asking is that you TRY to accept it
and respect it!
I don't want to hurt you or let you down anymore than i already have.
All I want is to be happy
and if that means being with her then that's what I'm gonna do!
So please,
Just look me in the eye one last time
and tell me you love me
and tell me that I'm not a big disappointment
to you.
