Lost Innocence

by Seeker of Truth   Nov 24, 2006

Sitting quietly in my sorrow,
I watch the baby drops,
Innocently falling from the sky.
With the sun shining down,
Lighting up the day,
The black storm clouds on the horizon,
Threatening to kill the sun's kind gesture.

I fear that one day,
I, like those innocent drops,
May be overrun,
Losing all innocence and being washed out by rain.
