Life Isn't Always Bad

I wrote this poem for one of my best friends

I know it would be the hardest being in your shoes.
Things happen and you can't go back to the past.
Your choices aren't always easy..sometimes you lose.
At this point in your life its only your roughcast.

Your life will get better, it will soon be at ease.
Everyone has it tough at some point in their growth.
Just hold in there,keep your head high for me, please.
Tell me you will, lets make this a promising oath.

I know I'm not the best, but I'm here to listen
If you need a crying shoulder, I wont hesitate.
It'll give you comfort and your smile will glisten.
If you need to talk I'm here, its never too late.
