Misery

Misery consumes me.
It is my only feeling.
Nothing else comes to mind except this misery.
This misery that consumes my entire being.
It never leaves,
never goes away.
I put on a mask for everyone,
they all think i am happy.
But inside this misery is eating me away inside
If only it would go away.
This relentless monster.
I try and try
But it will not leave
It is like a dark shadow
Following my every movement.
Will it ever go away?
