well this thing is with many of my friends & even they sleep with lights on...but i guess this fear vanishes once u r married coz then u get used of ghost sleeping with u every night...:o)

Nah, I think you could fit it in here. I really like this poem. Since we were little we have always been scared of some dark figure in the night to come and get us. And it seems as we get older the monster goes away, but the our tendencies always stay. We've all done it before: running up a dark staircase, rushing to get the lights on, all these things are natural. It's nice to see something like this and laugh at reflect ourselves, and our silly fears. It's funny, and I think thats why it belongs here.

Cos in the dark you can never be sure

Like that shadow in the corner
Is it a person or just the chair?

No matter how old we get, I think darkness will always make our eyes play tricks on us.....lol
I myself have to sleep with the T.V on, Not because I'm afraid of the dark though but because I've done it since I was little and can't seem to sleep unless it's on.....Funny huh...

THANKS GEMMA! I WONT BE ABLE TO SLEEP TONIGHT! lol...GAWD one of my biggest fears is the dark and I am a fifteen year old girl...it really makes me nervous and like this stanza described I always have to know where every object is in my room so I know if its that objects shadow or someone in my room....creepy!!! Guhhh Bed in like 2 hours for me..I'm scared now lol! Thanks.....good write though!

I spelt with the lights on a couple time because of my fear of stuff... lol... I thinks its funny and it portrays how some people are when it comes to fear 5/5
