Hey, i did this and all my other poems about two years ago, they aren't very good but i decided to submit them anyway, hope you like them.
I'm running,
Trying to keep up
I admit you were very cunning,
Slipping the pills in my cup,
It's a pity that they ddidn't work
It's a shame that I caught on
Now as round the corner you lurk
I know our love was a con
I know you cheated, I know you lied
From the shadows you leap
I now have no place to hide
I just collapse in a heap
I feel you bend over me and whisper in my ear
I then realize what you said, as you disappear
