Darklost

by Elizabeth Ann   Nov 24, 2006

A candid heart would lay buried in retrospection, gladdened for the pressure hath remained and costly ceased their crated soul.

Seamless yet awake and now a half-life, broadened toward its senseless stream looking back. The memoirs of your loved ones cleave to your somnolent thoughts.

To all those things that used to matter, you’re yet aware that death has squandered your valor and leeched your stubborn wiles.

You’ve awakened to this dread, dead and unfeeling toward your ripened sentiment.
Trapped within this boundless tundra is sins’ old companion, where old is his laughter becomes yours.
