Is it time to let go?

I liked you for so long
yet it's so wrong
i almost lost a friend
until it had to end
everything went by so fast
I really thought we would last

At first i trusted you
and you were there for me
but now i look into your eyes
and all I can see is lies
now im sitting here in my room
thinking about what to do
we werent meant to be
so i have to let you free
