Forbidden love

Love thats not meant to be,
the love that we feel for each other,
the way that others see,
Is not accepted in this society

why don't they just accept,
the way we are,
together or not,
it shouldn't matter.

feels like,
my heart is about to shatter,
when I hear what people say,
why don't they go away

and leave us be,
just together,
and no one would see,
the love I have in me.

Love that's not meant to be,
but it's love,
that we can't ignore.

    I can relate to this in so many ways!!! I loved this!!! I have or had a poem (on my other account) with this same title...but it was completely different...lol. Anyways this was great. Take care.
