A Shadow In Darkness

by RainbowSlider   Nov 24, 2006

An emptiness so full of itself beyond belief.
A void so ominous without firmament relief.
I yelled at the darkness but it didn't care.
I am just a shadow in darkness and aware.

My voice had no reality and echoed no where.
I longed for existence but there wasn't a somewhere.
I tried to talk to the other gods that weren't there.
I am just a shadow in darkness and aware.

Time just keeps warping and space is endless.
There are no forms and concepts are friendless.
I tried to communicate but nothing is hard to bare.
I am just a shadow in darkness and aware.

Time becomes meaningless because nothing exists.
My mind tries to cope with the agoraphobia of this.
No matter how long I live there is nothing to share.
I am just a shadow in darkness and aware.

Finally, I just get so bored with all that isn't there.
I stretch out my hand and speak let something bare.
I say this is good and nothing dies so unaware.
I am just a shadow in darkness and aware.

    I'm extatic about this stanza.
