When you see me

by Layla   Nov 25, 2006

You see the woman who broke you
When you look into my eyes.

When you hear my voice, you think of her,
And all her precious lies.

She brainwashed you to love her,
And then left you bound and broken.

She left her imprint in disguise ,
As a precious, living token.

Mother was never my icon,
I always adored you.

So when you're screaming in MY face,
I know who you're talking to.

You don't mean those nasty words
Which befoul the air between us.

They build a wall and keep you transfixed,
That I'm the evil genius.

She broke your heart, she bent your mind,
But she hurt others- not only you.

So next time when you're looking at me-
Remember, you're in me, too.
