Its A Beautiful World

by RainbowSlider   Nov 25, 2006

Its a beautiful world and full of splendor
whether its Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter.
Its a wonderful sky and full of passion
with sun, wind, snow and lightening crashing.

The sky hugs the earth and clouds kiss the sky
while fog tickles the ground as people go by.
Hallowed lights glow against the foggy terrain
on a peaceful night that doesn't have any rain.

The town sleeps as a diesel rig changes gears
making the grade up a mountain that is clear.
A cool crisp stillness that is quiet and serene
guards the sanctuary on a landscape of green.

A moment of clarity invades the ignorance
as the fairies flicker and wood nymphs dance.
The moon blushes taking in the playful sight
not disturbing a buck snorting at midnight.

A passerby breathes in deeply in stride
lost in his thoughts of patriotic pride.
Captured in memory the image fades away
and no one can argue the happiness display.

It's a lot simpler then any of your other poems.
It's not hard to make a simple poem, it's hard to make a good simple poem. And I think that you maneged to do that pretty well.
