Train station of life

by ECILA ice   Nov 26, 2006

Welcome to the train station
Enjoy every ride and scenery
Coz it only moves in one direction
Grab every opportunity
For it only has one rail track
There's no way of turning back...
Inside the train are different faces
Faces you'll never anticipate to see
Leaving a simple and hideous traces
Takes part in molding your personality
But there are always different stations
And people must also leave
Hopefully, they found one perfect location...
In your heart forever they live
Although their part is now over
At least they shared one route with you
Everything has its purpose, that's what life is for
At least once in a lifetime they brought glee in you

Hi, I saw some posts of yours in the forum and decided to check out your poems. I'm glad I did. This one is deep, and I really like it. It put me in the actual ride, and really made me think. The only criticism I have for you is the ending - you are a great writer and I think the ending line here could be stronger/more powerful. I love the poem! ~Tara

So true! great work. actually, i had state testing like a day before i wrote tick, tock and i sat by the clock and it made this noise after every minute. i was also really bored. but i also wrote it because sometimes, you really have to realize, you don't have all the time in the world. i don't actually know because i wrote it at like midnoght! lol. but great job on your poem!
