Finding Heaven

by Jacklyn   Nov 26, 2006

I found a piece of heaven
where innocent dreams run wild
Releasing all inner heartache
numbing all anger and sadness

A place I can wonder freely
no sense of time or reality
no signs of society or any city
Following a path of fallen leafs

Searching for something far unknown
to feed this craving beating wild
Standing on the edge where water begins
at last the reflection brings me peace

Upon the black rock sits my love
of an angel with wings of gold
Her naked pale beauty captures my heart
Promising me she’ll never let go

Crossing over to swim to her side
to where I fall into her loving arms
Tears flow freely, knowing in my heart
this moment will be over far too soon
