Craving Peace

A restless spirit dances
wild around the heart
Whispering sweet wishes
that has been ignored

Crying for emotions
lost so long ago
tired of feeling helpless
as it dances for love

Craving just to smile
let lose and be free
Begging for self-acceptance
to finally find it’s peace

The spirit again finds darkness
rejected by the heart
