Dear Yesterday I

by anna   Nov 26, 2006

Dear Yesterday, for you
I'm packing all my woes
I'll keep a little hard times
So history won't repeat itself
I give you the boy's hands
Which i just held in vain
I put my low self-esteem
In a tiny air-tight box
Laced it with worries
And taped it shut twice
With courage just because
I never use it
I give you my boredom
Along with my soul
But i'm keeping my heart
So maybe someday
I can trust someone enough
to give it away
Yesterday, You need it
more than I do.
I trust.
