Time does not exist. The word "time" is the English equivalent of a term created by man to describe our moving forward through space. The past, having once not existed not existed as the future, then existing at one point as the present, once more does not exist, except as a memory. The present, constantly happening and pushing forward, molding every moment, is technically the future in the sense that it moves into what we define as the "future", yet at the same time being what it is, the everpresent present. The future doesn't exist because it hasn't happened and nothing is predefined. If, in any case, an event is predefined, it is only a gray, unclear shadow of a possibility. Therefore, the "future", in the sense that we most use it, is non-existent. |
