i wish he'd call, just once. just to hear him say sorry is all i need.
by god's mercy, he called the next day. his voice was honey sweet. hearing him apologize to me was all i needed to bring myself to forgive him, and close the door.
...i had one wish, i coulda wished to start all over, but why waste a wish, when i know that it's over. so, i wished realistically.
but i still hope, and i still pray, maybe that one day, he'll be able to say i love you with that feeling. and that day, he'll be holding my hands and kneeling.
