Father like son

The science theory is
you are born loving your mum
but the day that i went football
my feelings were soon numb

now they say it is a mans game
and to that i quite agree
as i realised i did have two parents
when to football daddy took me

i grew a special bond
stronger than an ox
that bond will never part
as its guarded with ten locks

to this day he still takes me
and my sister wants to come
but me and dad just tells her no
as they say- father like son
