Life

Once again I challenge myself to what life is,
I constantly think what I have to do to succeed,
Is it really to get a job and pay the bills?
And to have a family when you are ready?
But isnt there more to life?
Isnt there suppose to be something more?
Imagine if we were all dead,
And we had to live life being dead,
Would that be any different?
Would life change dramatically then?

And what about when you become old and grey,
Are you supposed to just lay there in a home and die away?
What if you are supposed to live your life when you are old?
What if that is the beginning of life?
The struggle to the end the people say,
Does life have to be a struggle?
Or maybe there is no life with out struggle?

And what if you have found a soul mate?
How do you really know if that is your soul mate?
People just say they just know,
But is that true?
Can you really just know?
And what if your lover dies?
What are you left to do then?
Walk the earth until you die?
In what way though?
Are you supposed to be happy or sad?

Once again I challenge myself to what life is,
But what if life is unknown and will always stay unknown?
So there the mystery lies and always will lie,
Life is unknown,
The only thing that we do know,
Is that we are here to live and make life easier for ourselves,
I dont need to challenge life anymore.
