I stare and stay
One place at a time
I stare so much
I get lost in time

when i look at you
all i can see
is someone who's more beautiful
then most people could hope to be

so now i have that key

Generous, charming, but not one that smothers
Optimistic, thoughtful, happy and game
But not just another... in the long chain.

Appreciative, warm and precious like gold
Our friendship won't be gone or ever grow old
You'll always be there, I know that is true
I'll always be here... always for you.

But friendship is just the beginning
and my want for you continuously grows
i want to be more then friends
because you only bring me the highs, never the lows

the other day you told me to watch the notebook
and i thought that movie was great
i thought of you through it all
and how you i can never hate

in that movie they were each others first love
and then they were pulled apart
later to run into each other
and again join as one heart

this movie reminds me of us
and how i moved away
but we ran into each other again
and it looks like I'm here to stay

i want to have what they had
and now i have the chance
i want to get lost in love with you
and share a perfect romance

there is so much more i want to tell you
but right now i don't have the right
just know i missed you today
and ill be missing you all night

i have ever done
but its all for cause
cause your my number one

all i want to do
is please you anyway i can
ill do anything to make you smile
ill do anything to be your man

i think of you all the time
and what we one day might be
I'm gonna do whatever it takes
cause i know your love isn't free

when i get mad i just sit
and stare at a picture of you
cause i know it always makes me smile
and i feel as if I'm brand new

so i leave this at your door
to show you how much i care
and i want you to know
that i will forever be here

i will be here to make you smile
my soul purpose is to fill you with love
cause when i look at you
i see a heavenly dove

the next time i see you
theres something i must let out
and i want you to give me an honest answer
and tell me if your in or out
