A nice warm bath, the prayer before bed
I’m getting ready for your kiss on my head
Covers ruffled, quickly jumping inside
Just as I hear your footsteps outside

A kiss on the forehead, the covers pulled up tight

The lights flicked off, music turned down low

    Here it is 4:30AM, inable to sleep. I orginally began thinking tht I would sleep better if my love was here with me.... then as I was writing it became more of as I was a child and all the things I missed out on -- being held before bed, the kiss on the forehead, and the bed time story.
