A Birthday Wish

A year had come and gone so fast
Our memories made will always last
In times of trouble we stood together
We made a bond to keep forever

A teenage girl with a heart so kind
With quick wits and a brilliant mind
Her soul so pure with angel's wings
She guides me through difficult things

A talented poet and an athletic girl
With ambition to take on the world
Addictive smiles that always stay
Even through a really rough day

She will make a special wish tonight
When she blows out the candle light
In that moment I would love to share
And maybe next time I will be there

Just once I want to be there for you
To make your birthday wishes true
We'll stand together and cut the cake
And a new birthday wish you'll make

Your brother loves you so very much
So always remember to keep in touch
I'm wishing you so many miles away
To my little sister a Happy Birthday

    That was really sweet.... I loved it, and I'm sure your sister did as well.....A lovely and unique write about a girl that I'm sure is very special to you.

    ^^although it's a good line, the whole bond thing seemed a bit cliche.

    Her soul so pure with angel's wings
    She guides me through difficult things
    ^^^ I think the word 'so' should be taken out....It's a really good sentance but maybe "her soul pure with the touch of angel's wings" would sound better.

    I'm wishing you so many miles away
    ^^ this didn't really make sence... maybe somthing like "I wish for you, from many miles away"
