No Escape Route.

by ASPHYXIATED   Nov 27, 2006

Welcome back,
The floor speaks,
Tears slip slowly,
Along my cheeks,
Long time no see,
The walls stare,
I hear their voices,
But no one's there,
She's abandoned us,
I hear them screech,
The door to safety,
Is out of reach,
My legs failed me,
My back crumbled,
She's here to stay,
They smugly mumbled,
No escape route,
They've sucked me in,
Drowning alone,
In my puddle of sin.

--Understanding Poem--
Ever do something you know is wrong, and even when you give it up you still crave it? [I don't mean smoking, I'm talking bout on a deeper level.]
My experiences like this have always been recalled by this one room.
And that's what the poems about.
I know I shouldn't, yet I returned.
Other's may take it in a different personal approach but thats how I take it :]

    Lisa,
    I loved this poem,
I think I know what you mean by feeling something deeper. It touched me in a way I just can't explain. It's like umm...It's a good feeling I guess it's because I can related, but I loved it. I'm planning on going through & rating & commenting on your poems. =]] I love you, dollface.
