The Black Rose Has Died

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Nov 27, 2006

The black rose has died
It no longer lives
There is no more happiness
That it once did give

It was once a red, red rose
So young and full of life
Now, it's gone and dead
And nothing seems right

It used to symbolize
How life was precious to all
Look at it now
As the petals start to fall

It is no longer beautiful
It no longer has perfect stance
All is gone, all is dead
It now has no chance

It is gone and it's the end
What happened to it inside
All that I know now
Is that the black rose has died

I really liked your poem and the way it flowed. You put a lot of emotion into this and it came out beautiful and strong. I can relate to what you're feeling. Keep writing it out. 5/5.
