Final Cut...

by Jess...   Nov 28, 2006

Running the razor over my skin
Seeking to find what's missing within
An endless void that continues to grow
my scars of pain beginning to show

Realizing I will never smile again
I'm desperately trying to reach the end
Grinding the blade deeper into my skin
Releasing the anger held within
The familiar rush of pain comes and goes
From my veins the crimson flows
Knowing now that things wont change
Theres no going back, nothings the same

One final cut has left me dizzy and weak finally
I have found the freedom I seek
As the room starts to spin round and round
numb, my body hits the ground

In a puddle of blood my body rest
Its now the end I close my eyes
A note on the table, my last goodbye
I've finally done it, left this world behind
