Tearful Eyes

by Native Soulja Boi   Nov 28, 2006

See the hurt in her eyes, the pain, the heartache, the unforgetfulness.

I see her wonder through the dark, a ghost in the night.

Why is this grief so unbearable, it rips my heart to shreds.

I see a small tear fall from her eyes in the blackness of the night.

She weeps so silently, even the souls of the night do not here her cry.

How I would give the moon and the stars, just to be by her side.

To share my thoughts and happiness, to chase away all the fear.

To shield her, from the grotesque toils and tribulations,

of this unforbidden world.

Darkness looms over head, and follows her wherever she goes.

I stand by, with a ready sword, ready to take up the fight.

Shall I be her protector or her comforter?

An ally or a foe?

This we shall never know.

She sits under the full moon, swollen eyes full of tears,

they take their course, falling to the earth below,

turning into crystal forever more.
