A Poetic Nightmare

Peter Piper picked a peck of.. oh who really cares?
I could pick pecks of peppers dancing naked on my stairs
If Peter Piper had a life, he'd be on myspace mailing friends
Instead of skipping around with those darn pickled fiends

Did you see that up there? I did something great
Because it looks like it would rhyme but instead it grates
Doesn't fit in I hear you cry, alas thats why this poem's mine
I am simply exploring my poetic licence in rhyme

Another person who jars me, and yes I just used slang
Is that annoying mary and her loud mouth little lamb
I spent the whole time thinking, why not send it to get shawn
Maybe my hate for her comes from wee willie reading porn

I didn't know that, til my friend matthew told me
He told me nasty stories about jack and jill in PVC
When I look back on it, friend wasn't the right word
Something more along the lines of idiotic turd

But look, thats what we poets call forced rhyme
I was going to write idiot but it didn't fit the time
In fact this entire poem doesn't really work
Reading it back tomorrow will probably make me hurt

It's just nursery rhymes, theres something about them
This late they make me want to betchslap them
I got rid of the "i" there so it isn't swearing
A bit of artistic liscence while I'm *insert rhyme here* caring

Normally, you don't see msn speak on poems much
Unless you venture to cutting poems, those: DO NOT TOUCH
I get kinda of frightened by the constant crimson tears
The effort that it took me to rhyme that word with fears

So I'm gonna bop my way back to my myspace
Bop is a kinda of walk that makes my mum pull an ugly face
This is what you and I would call a "Poetic Nightmare"
So give me a downvote, I'm so knackered I couldn't care...less
