Putting the pieces together again

by Kathryn   Nov 29, 2006

Wishing you were gone,
Out of the family that you do not belong.
Wanting it all to disappear,
Yet knowing you have to deal with it for a few more years.

Living with the lies,
The disappointments and the highs,
Getting through the hostility,
The hatred and meaningless gestures,

Having cut and bruises,
To help relief the stress,
Handing out lies,
''There's nothing wrong i promise''

Wanting the pieces put back together,
The pieces that made my famliy one,
But those are dreams.
And this is reality.

The pieces have blown away,
Into time that has long since been here,
Trying to assemble the pieces of my puzzle
Only the parts that have gone missing.
