Hiding Away

Life is pointless,
When you don't have anyone to hold,
No one there for you,
When you grow old.

I need someone to talk to,
About my feelings,
That I keep inside,
But instead I just hide them away.

I wish I could come out,
And show the world,
What I am all about,
But I'm afraid of what they will think.

Why can't they see,
What lies within me?
How can they not see,
What's wrong with me?
