I walk alone

I walk upon this empty street,
as normal I walk alone.
I'm tired and have pain in my feet,
as I walk ahead, unknown.

It's snowing and it's cold,
I can see my breath in the air.
I think of the words that was never told,
and how it can be so unfair.

I walk by families together,
I smile as I see them pass me by.
And I who thought it would last forever,
how could I be so stupid, why?

I wish I had a chance to explain,
but that chance is forever blown.
I just have to wait out this pain,
So for now, I walk alone.
