Confused?

It's getting closer to when I'll see you again
And I'm a little nervous I admit
My heart keeps racing when I think of you
Is it about to be shattered into tiny bits?

I don't know if I should talk to you first
Or wait for you to make the first move
But if I do that will you think
That I am stuck up and rude?

Because that isn't the case
I'm not purposely ignoring you
I'm just nervous and self conscious
And I'm not sure what to do.

I don't know how you'll act
When we are face to face
So it's really no surprise
That I am acting like a basket case.

What I'm fearing the worst
Is if you're mean about what happened
if you're nasty and arrogant
If you regret what happened.

If you do regret it
I'd much rather nothing was said
I'd rather it was forgotten
And we moved on instead.

But only you know how you're going to act
And if you're going to be mean or sweet
And Until I know the answer for sure
When I think of you my heart will continue to miss beats.
