Best you ever had. :]

I've lost my way, in this unmemorable world.
I've lost my battles, armor and sword.
I've lost my dreams, hopes and way.
I've lost it all, but my love for you shall stay.

I've drifted oh so far from the homeland.
I've mounted upon the dusty white sand.
With thoughts of you floating through my mind.
Oh, how home I'm lingering to find.

I'm searching, in me, for the best.
Leaving behind all the rest.
I'm becoming all you want me to be.
Just so I can make you happy.

I've lost my dreams, hopes, and even my way.
But, baby my love for you shall stay.
Forever and ever.. It shall not end.
Even through the storms, my love shall ascend.

And, I promise you..
I'll be the best you ever had.

    Wonderful peice of poetry here. I loved it. The flow was good and the structure was too. The lines I felt where a little lengthy. Once again, a wonderful write.

    Hey that was pretty good. did u write that for a contest? i think i saw it... anyways, i liked it, the only thing i saw was with the flow in the first stanza...
    "I've lost my dreams, hopes and way.
    I've lost it all, but my love for you shall stay."
    the last line was too long and so it didnt flow as well as it could. maybe change it to "I've lost it all, but my love shall stay"? but i know that the 'for you' part is important....
    well, 5/5 anyways :)

    Oh my God, I loved this poem it was amazing... I've this way before and to hear it from someone else was touching... true or not It touched me... Keep it up... If you got time check out some of my work..
