Just too different

by Tormented   Nov 29, 2006

Two hearts coming together,
From totally different world
When their eyes meet,
Both fall deeper and deeper

Without knowing their differences,
They came so close
Laughed together
Cried together

He totally cool guy
And oh so popular
Fell in love with a geeky girl?
How can this be?

At last the inevitable came,
She went to him
When he was with his friends
They made fun of her

But he just stood there
Looking ashamed
Didn't look at her once
She went with tears in her eyes

He broke her heart
Such sadness as she'd never felt before
He came to her- when there was no one near her
"We cannot talk anymore

You and I are just too different
My respect is dearer to me
Than ANYTHING else"
She just nodded.

Trying not to cry
She ran away
So sad, so painful
And every word was so true
Too true

How could she like someone
More respected then her?
Some one so different
Too different...

    OOOPS.
You can definatly disregard my first comment. Let me actually READ the entire poem. Lol. I totally inferred by just reading the first two stanzas. My bad. This poem was very sad. Apperently these people didn't ATTRACTS. They were complete opposites. Sad write! :\ Gahh. This really does truly happen in life though! Good job. 5/5.

This piece was quite wonderfully tear-jerking. You precisely have captured the emotions through writing this one. It's so heartrending and unbelievably true. In school, we treated everyone equally--at least that's how it is mostly in our homeland...

Keep on writing what you feel and like. all the best and take care.
    Love,
